The term "Cove" is derived from the shape of the meandering front setback which forms an indent in the relationship of house to street, some what like a cove shape along a shoreline.

By Utilizing a unique organic pattern for planning we can reduce the length of public street delivering larger lots. The reduction of street length is typically 25% compared to conventional platting. It's not just more attractive... it makes more economic sense.

Our non-published fifth generation of coved design expands beyond creating a more attractive streets cape. These neighborhoods rival the best Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) patterns for pedestrian connectivity and sense of place.

Coving reduces lineal street footageby 15% to 50 %. The resulting land area increases average lot size and adds open spaces. In this example coving used 40% less paving and yielded the same average lot size.

The term "BayHome" is derived from the shape of the common areas incorporated in the design method which forms bay like shapes. This single family, detached association maintained housing is ideal for busy young families, empty nesters and active adults.

With Bayhomes the interior livingspace and exterior site environments are planned simultaneously, an attention to detail that adds tremendous value over other forms of housing, and resulting in panoramic views from within the kitchen and living areas onto the commons.

BayHomes, like New Urban homes must have a usable front porch. Since the sides of the homes are also exposed to provide the panoramic views, architectural detail must wrap around the home. Which can be paid for by the cost reduction for construction compared to TND and New Urban designs.
