“The house is a series of layers that should filter experience in rhythmic and evocative ways.” Ross received his architecture degree from Harvard, and has taught at Yale, Columbia, Carnegie-Mellon, and Parsons School of Design. He designed the Abercrombie & Fitch headquarters; is featured in Architectural Record, The New York Times Magazine, Met Home, House Beautiful, and Sunset; and received awards from the American Institute of Architects and American Wood Council. He uses everyday materials and forms in elegant ways to produce houses of simplicity and sophistication.
